First-timers / Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive 20-30 minutes before class.

  • Give yourself about 3 hours to digest your food after a meal before you take class (but please don’t fast entirely— you will need energy for this class!)

  • Drink plenty of water up to one hour before class.

  • Wear whatever makes you comfortable (you’ll sweat!)

  • Stay inside the hot room for the duration of class.

  • Bring a yoga mat, large towel to cover your mat, and bottle of water.

  • Rental mats and towels are available.

  • Your goal is simply to stay in the room (just sit or lie down if you get overwhelmed).

Studio Etiquette

  • Be on time. (No admittance after class starts.)

  • Observe silence in the hot room at all times.

  • Stay in the hot room until the teacher says, “Namaste” at the end of class.

  • Use the restrooms before class — do not go in and out of the room during class.

  • Leave all personal belongings (cell phones on silent) in cubbies.

  • Put smart watches on do-not-disturb mode.

  • Limit your shower to 2 minutes.

  • If you are not feeling well in any way, please do not come to class.
