Yoga Nidra

Every month here around the full moon, join us for our signature yoga nidra offering. What is yoga nidra? It's the ancient yogic practice of meditation -- more specifically, it's the mental state between being awake and being asleep. Our certified yoga nidra instructor, Maura Walsh, will guide you through the entire visualization process. This class will provide you with the opportunity to turn on your relaxation response, which is your body's natural healing state. Yoga nidra allows the body and mind to integrate, heal, and achieve equilibrium. This class will help you with your meditation practice. There will be breathwork and light movements to help you prepare for your yoga nidra meditation. There is absolutely no experience in either yoga or meditation necessary. The room will be warm but not blazing hot. There is no extra fee for this class -- you can use any of your class packages to sign up like you normally would. You’ll want to bring a yoga mat.
